A beautiful Chinese Chippendale lacquered cabinet on stand. The upper section with a pagoda top and a blind fret frieze with turned gilded finials, above twin glazed doors with wonderful gilded and lacquered temple columns and acanthus carved detail which opens to reveal two plate glass shelves. The top with canted corners and stunning raised gold lacquer detail depicting typical Oriental figures with flying cranes. Having twin mahogany lined frieze drawers also with raised gold lacquer detail and brass cherub drop handles. The stand again of typical "Chinese" Chippendale design, with pierced spandrels and terminating in block feet. English Edwardian Period in the Chinese manner circa 1920
