Pair of bamboo inlayed palm tree motif mirrored screens from the ‘Parma’ series, by Vivai del Sud bamboo. This statement piece is part of Maurizio Mariani and Giusto Puri Purini's 'Palm Bench Regency' collection for the house of Vivai Del Sud. These bi-fold screens are expertly and exquisitely constructed from a padding over a wooden structure – on the fronts are mirrors and palm tree profiles made of bamboo (rattan) with the backs completely lined with bamboo. In the spirit of Vivai del Sud, the use of trompe l’oeil creates an atmosphere of an oasis created by a presence of palm trees.
