Palmer Chrisman oil on canvas. (Texas, 1913-1984), Note: Palmer Chrisman was one of President Lyndon Johnson's favorite artists. His paintings have hung in the White House and hang in the Johnson museum, the original Stage Coach Inn in Salado, Texas and in the Scott and White Hospital where he was a medical doctor. This is an excellent example of his work with the shimmering cool creek waters of Barton Creek, colorful Texas oaks and distant hills in view on a fall day.
