Large Italian hand carved gilt wood mirror in the Rococo style. The frame is made from fruit wood and completely hand carved. The traditional Rococo themes are present such as scroll work and shell forms. The gilt finish was also aged when manufactured to add to the look of being a period mirror. The item has the original glass which is in excellent condition. The over all look of the mirror is impressive.
