A beautiful series of six watercolor amaryllis framed in gold leaf by Louisiana / San Miguel de Allende Artist Francis Kalmbach (d 2016), signed. Francis was a talented artist and his true passion was painting. He devoted much of his life to creating beautiful impressionist works and his paintings were shown across the South. Those that knew him found him personable, witty, and extremely well-traveled, finding inspiration for his paintings in the beautiful places he visited.
